Acceptance
By using any of the apps or games offered by Stokebird (collectively, "the apps" or "our games"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the apps.
The Games
Stokebird offers location-based games that encourage real-world exploration. Depending on the app, you may earn points, track progress, or participate in events by visiting locations, completing paths, and interacting with in-game objectives.
Your Responsibilities
You agree to:
Use the apps lawfully and not abuse their features.
Not cheat, spoof GPS locations, or manipulate scores.
Not harass, threaten, or endanger other players.
Obey all local laws, traffic rules, and property boundaries while playing.
Stay aware of your surroundings at all times during gameplay.
Real-World Exploration - Assumption of Risk
You take full, complete, 100% responsibility for your own safety and actions while using our apps. Stokebird games encourage real-world exploration, which inherently involves risks including but not limited to: traffic, terrain hazards, weather conditions, physical exertion, unfamiliar areas, and encounters with wildlife or other people.
You agree to hold Stokebird, its creators, developers, administrators, and operators completely harmless for any and all injuries, damages, losses, claims, or liabilities of any kind - whether physical, emotional, financial, or otherwise - that may arise from your use of our apps or your participation in any game activities.
Do not visit any location that feels unsafe. Do not trespass on private property. Do not play while riding or driving. Use common sense.
Gameplay Data & Replays
By using our apps, you agree that we may collect, store, and use gameplay data - including but not limited to location visit history, path completions, mission progress, scores, timestamps, and GPS coordinates recorded during gameplay - to create replays, highlight reels, spectator feeds, leaderboards, analytics, and other derivative content.
This data may be displayed publicly in aggregated or anonymized form (e.g., first names or usernames only, heatmaps, activity feeds). We will not publicly share your full name, email address, or precise real-time location outside of specific in-game features that you have actively opted into.
You grant Stokebird a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use your gameplay data for the purposes described above, including promotional materials and public broadcasts of game activity.
Account Termination
Game administrators may suspend or remove your account at any time for violating these terms or for any conduct deemed harmful to other players or the games.
No Warranty
Our apps are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uptime, accuracy of location data, or preservation of scores and progress.
Changes
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the apps after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
